fluance fi50_1There are plenty of Bluetooth speakers available in the market today, but if you’re sick of having to pick amongst cheap plastic Bluetooth speakers, then Fluance might be a brand worth checking out. They might not necessarily be a brand you have heard of, but the company has recently launched a new Bluetooth speaker in the form of the Fi50.

What sets the Fi50 apart from the competition is the fact that it is built out of wood. Customers will be able to choose from black ash, natural walnut, and lucky bamboo. Generally speaking wood is a better choice when it comes to sound systems due to the inherent acoustic qualities of the material, although admittedly that is just one aspect of what makes a speaker system good.

That being said, what else is the Fluance Fi50 packing under its hood? The speaker will sport dual full-range 5-inch woofers, coaxial tweets, and a 40 watt amp, meaning that it should be able to deliver quite a punch in terms of audio. There is a touch control panel for users to adjust settings such as volume levels and its equalizer.

There is also a 2.1A USB port for quick charging and a 3.5mm audio jack if your media device does not have Bluetooth connectivity, like maybe your laptop or computer for example. The speakers are not cheap as they are priced at $199.99 but if you think it could be worth your time and money, you can go ahead and order it via Fluance’s website.
