Samsung has already confirmed that it’s going to conduct an event on August 13th in New York City, at the event the company is expected to unveil Galaxy Note 5 as well as the Galaxy S6 Edge+. There have been many contradictory reports regarding specifications of the latter, it was initially believed to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 808 processor, now it’s expected to feature the same Exynos 7420 processor found on the existing Galaxy S6 edge model. What about the rear camera though?

A listing has been spotted on Indian import tracker Zauba which shows that a 16 megapixel camera with 1/2.6″ sensor was imported into the country from China.

The listing mentions that it’s a camera module for the SM-G928 which happens to be the model number for Galaxy S6 Edge+. From the looks of it this is going to be the very same module that’s present on the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge.

Other expected specifications for this handset include a 5.7 inch Quad HD display, Exynos 7420 processor with 4GB RAM, 3,000mAh battery and Android 5.1 with the latest TouchWiz skin.

We’ll know everything for sure at Samsung’s event next month, rumor has it that the company is going to focus more on marketing efforts for this device as opposed to the Galaxy Note 5 since the Galaxy S6 Edge+ is likely to be released in more markets initially.
