A few months ago, much to the delight of fans around the world, Sony announced that a remastered version of God of War 3 would be released for the PlayStation 4. For those living in the US, the game has since been released as its US date was pegged for the 14th of July. For those in Europe, your release date has been set for the 15th of July.

Now if you have yet to get your hands on the remastered version of the game and you’re wondering if it might be worth your time and money, you might be interested to learn that Sony has since released a new launch trailer of the game, showing off its 1080p 60fps gameplay graphics, which we have to admit looks pretty damn good.

However it should be noted that if you’re looking forward to additional God of War remasters, Sony has stated previously that God of War 3 will most likely be the only title in the franchised to be given the remastered treatment. Sony’s goal is to reintroduce the franchise to those who have yet to play the games, which in turn would let them create new God of War titles for the PS4 which in turn would ultimately attract new gamers.

In any case if you have a couple of minutes to spare, then this is a trailer you will want to check out.
