Last week Blizzard started to send out teasers to some publications with regards to a possible Hearthstone-related announcement. Now the good news is that if you were curious about the announcement and wanted to check it out for yourself, you might be interested to learn that Blizzard will be hosting an event both online and in real-life.
According to Blizzard, if you’re around San Francisco, the event will be held at the Folsom Street Foundry on the 22nd of July and will begin at 2:30pm PDT. The event will host some special Hearthstone matches, allow fans to chat with developers, and there will also be a “momentous” announcement from Blizzard.
For those who can’t make the event, fret not because Blizzard will also be hosting a livestream of the event on the official Hearthstone Twitch channel. It will also kick off at 2:30pm PDT so you will be able to see what everyone else is seeing. While it is unclear as to what Blizzard will be announcing, chances are we could be looking at a new Hearthstone expansion.
Blizzard has been rather aggressive with Hearthstone expansion releases. The last expansion was Blackrock Mountain which was released 3 months ago. The latest expansion is anyone’s guess but some have speculated it might have content related to the Lich King character and events. Either way check back with us then for the details.
