HTC Kicks Off The HTC Vive World Tour

During MWC 2015, HTC surprised everyone with an announcement of a wearable headset in the form of the HTC Vive. What was even more surprising was the fact that they managed to team up with the folks at Valve who helped develop the headset, and now the good news is that if you wanted to check it out for yourself, HTC has announced the commencement of the HTC Vive world tour.

The world tour already begun a couple of days ago where it kicked off in San Diego from the 9th of July to the 12th of July. It is expected to make its way across the US where it will be making its appearance at a variety of different conventions and festivals, like The International DotA 2 tournament in Seattle, PAX Prime, and so on.

It will also be making its way to other countries as well, such as Gamescom which will be held in Cologne, Germany. It will also make an appearance at IFA which will held in Berlin, and will also make its way to Paris, France where the headset will be shown off and demoed at the Paris Games Week.

That being said, HTC notes that these dates are subject to change, but until they say otherwise you can assume that the event is still on. In the meantime you can check out the entire list of dates and cities HTC will be bringing the HTC Vive to below, so if you are in the area, perhaps you might want to head on over and take the headset for a spin.
