lg-g4-s-gfxWhenever you start to read about or see renders or photos of a smartphone that has yet to be released, there is a very high chance that said device is already being prepared for a release some time down the road – as to when, that remains to be seen. Still, we have already heard whispers of an upcoming LG G4 S some time last week, where it does seem to carry the family traits in the form of the LG G4 flagship, although you can be sure that it will not come with all the bells and whistles that the high end model does. After all, it is tipped to arrive as a higher range mid-tier model.

A trip made by the LG G4 S to the GFXBench site for some benchmarking revealed something rather interesting – it seems that the LG G4 S is set to arrive with a Snapdragon 615 SoC underneath the hood. The Snapdragon 615 SoC is tipped to boast of an octa-core CPU that will feature an Adreno 405 GPU, too, accompanied by the likes of 2GB RAM, an 8MP shooter at the back with a 5MP selfie camera.

In addition, your eyes will be greeted by a 5.2” display that will feature 1080 x 1920 Full HD resolution – while it might not be QHD, but Full HD is still more than capable of expressing colors and images perfectly well, with a pixel density of 424ppi that ought to be no reason to complain. We look forward to more details of the handset being released in due time.
