lg nexus leakYesterday we reported that an alleged photo of the upcoming LG Nexus smartphone had leaked online. This showed off the rear shell of the upcoming phone which gave us a hint as to what we might expect. Now it seems that this rear shell might be the real deal because thanks to a new leak from @onleaks, new photos have surfaced.

The photos in question are allegedly cases designed for the upcoming handset. All of them appear to sport the same design, which is the square cutout for the camera’s flash, and two huge circles which we can only assume is for the camera, and the other might be for a fingerprint scanner, LG’s logo, or maybe the secondary lens.

It is possible that these cases have been designed based on leaked information, or at least speculation of what the phone might look like, so it might not necessarily be an accurate depiction of what’s to come. However @onleaks has had a pretty decent track record so far with these things, so perhaps there might be some truth in these photos.

In any case it’s anyone’s guess as to when Google will make the LG Nexus official, so we guess we’ll still have to wait for that announcement, but given that the Nexus 6 was launched in October 2014, perhaps the LG Nexus and the rumored Huawei Nexus might see a launch around the same time this year as well, until then take it with a grain of salt.
