moto-g-3rd-gen-blackIn a couple of days, we expect that Motorola will take the wraps off the Moto G (2015). The handset despite not packing the most powerful specs has proven to be quite a hit amongst customers, thanks to its affordable price tag and its specs which makes it a value for money purchase.

That being said, what can we expect from the next-gen Moto G? So far there have been rumors suggesting that it could sport 1GB of RAM, while another suggests 2GB of RAM, although there have been some that suggests Motorola could offer up the phone in two different options. Now thanks to a listing by retailer Flipkart, that might have been confirmed.

The retailer has listed the handset with two different sets of hardware – one model whose packaging shows 2GB of RAM, and another listing where its specs states it has 1GB of RAM. It is possible that there might be a printing issue or a typo, or the retailer might simply be guessing and using the different RAM numbers as placeholders, so that’s worth keeping in mind.

However apart from the discrepancy in RAM, the rest of the hardware is more or less in line with what we have been hearing and seeing for a while now. In any case do check back with us on the 28th of July for the details. Alternatively Motorola will also be livestreaming the event themselves.
