Galaxy-Note5-Nillkin-01Samsung has officially announced that they will be hosting an event on the 13th of August in which we can only assume will see the launch of new smartphones, like the rumored Galaxy Note 5 and the Galaxy S6 Edge+. This means that we only have a few weeks until all is officially revealed, but in the meantime if you’re curious about the Galaxy Note 5, hopefully these photos will clue you in.

According to a recent post by NILLKIN on Weibo (via Nowhereelse.fr), alleged photos of the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 have surfaced. Previously we were treated to an image of the device which was allegedly a prototype, and based on these photos it certainly looks to be in line with what we’ve seen so far.

The Galaxy Note 5 seems to sport a similar design to the Samsung Galaxy S6 with its curved metal edges and we can only assume is a glass back as well. It looks pretty good and it also seems to confirm that the stylus for the Galaxy Note 5 will be a regular stylus with no fancy auto-ejecting feature.

The phone also appears to be pretty huge and more or less confirms what we have heard about the device so far, which is that it could sport a 5.7-inch display. In any case the phone is shaping up to be a pretty impressive handset so remember to check back with us on the 13th of August for all the official details.
