Windows_10Microsoft has introduced yet another build of their upcoming Windows 10 operating system to Insiders, and this time around, it would see the build number being bumped up to build 10162. Needless to say, anticipation is high that with each new build released, we are getting closer and closer to the final product – which is not a bad thing at all, of course. Having said that, this happens to be the third build that has rolled out this week to Insiders, with builds 10158 and 10159 being pushed out earlier on.

Microsoft claims that the latest build 10162 would bring along with it improved stability, a better battery life (which everyone appreciates, I am sure), performance and compatibility to previous releases. Considering how this particular version happens to be just a few builds newer as opposed to the previous release and that we are staring down the final furlong of the RTM build, there should not be any expectations, or rather too high expectations when it comes to new features.

Folks who happen to be in the Slow ring will need to wait, since Microsoft are still mulling over whether this release is for you, assuming no huge roadblocks are run into after Fast ring users have had their fair share of fun with it. [Press Release]
