There’s already a lot of hype surrounding the next smartphone from OnePlus and while the company has released nuggets of information it will lift the veil completely tomorrow. A video has appeared online showing off the OnePlus 2 running the AnTuTu benchmark and while the score is not something to write home about it does cause some confusion about the specifications of this handset.

OnePlus 2 seen in this video scored a disappointing 49,221 on the AnTuTu benchmark and the test showed that this device has a 1,080×1,920 pixel resolution display as well as 16GB of onboard memory. On the other hand TENAA certification of this device listed a 1,440×2,560 resolution display and 32GB of onboard storage.

Model A2001 of the OnePlus 2 was used to run this test while another benchmark result leaked recently came from model number A2003 which had 4GB of RAM.

It’s possible that multiple prototypes of the handset are out there which is why we see this conflicting information regarding the OnePlus 2’s specifications. Perhaps the company might release two variants, one with the full HD display, 3GB RAM and 16GB storage and the other with a Quad HD resolution display, 4GB RAM and 32GB of onboard storage.

A registration list for invites is already live, OnePlus is going to formally launch the OnePlus 2 tomorrow.
