oneplus-2-322The OnePlus 2 is certainly starting to look as though it is going to offer plenty of bang for your hard earned buck, based on the number of rumors as well as teasers that have accompanied it already. For instance, we do know that the OnePlus 2 is set to come with a fingerprint scanner, a USB Type-C port, dual cameras, and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 chipset. Just in case all of that are not enough for you, OnePlus CEO Liu Zuohu also did share over his Weibo account that the OnePlus 2 will ship with a metal chassis – perhaps to keep up with the rest of the Joneses in the smartphone industry.

Or at least, this is what Google Translate has come up with, since Zuohu’s recent Weibo post did make a request for folks to define “full metal”. Its predecessor, the original OnePlus One, did not feature any kind of metal body, but rather, it arrived in the form of a polycarbonate body as well as a pair of back cover options, namely in Silk White and Sandstone Black.

Not only that, there were not one, but three separate OnePlus 2 models that were seen on the Bluetooth SIG website not too long ago, and does this mean that we will see a trio of models with various materials? Only time will be able to tell – let us play the patience card here.
