one-plus-2-invites

OnePlus released its first smartphone last year and while it received a lot of praise due to its flagship worthy specifications and very competitive price point it was actually quite difficult to get your hands on a unit. The company had an invite system in place which frankly wasn’t that perfect, which is why it took quite a few months before supply could finally catch up with demand. OnePlus is adamant not to let that happen this time around as well so it’s promising a “new and improved” invite system for the OnePlus 2.

One simple change is going to insure that invites are easier to come by, OnePlus says that this year it will have up to 50x the inventory that it had in stock last year which would allow it to better cater to demand.

A “quick and painless” reservation list will also be launched for people who don’t have time to spend on social media or forums to secure an invite, they will receive an email as soon as an invite is available, OnePlus will prioritize its early forum supporters here.

Like last time each OnePlus 2 customers will receive invites that they can share with friends and the company says that unlike last time these shareable invites will arrive much faster.

OnePlus hopes that with these changes it’s capable of providing an easier experience for customers who are willing to spend their money on its upcoming handset.
