samsung logo 4It looks like Samsung has quietly introduced a refresh for one of its tablets, and that would be the Samsung Galaxy Tab A Plus. What made the reveal all the more interesting is the fact that the Samsung Galaxy Tab A Plus would feature a 9.7” display alongside an S Pen stylus, where the latter happens to be something that is normally reserved for the South Korean conglomerate’s high-end products only. Well, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A Plus was put out without a beep on the Samsung Belgium-France website, and there was no accompanying official press release to boot.

Officially known as the Samsung Galaxy Tab A & S Pen, it will sport the model number SM-P550N, featuring the aforementioned 9.7″ LCD display at 1024 x 768 pixel resolution, carries a Ziilabs ZMS-08 chipset that boasts of a quad-core 1.2GHz CPU, 2GB RAM, a microSD memory card slot for expansion purposes, and Android 5.0 Lollipop in tow with TouchWiz UI running on top of it. Oh yeah, there will also be 16GB of internal memory just in case you were wondering.

At the back lies a 5MP shooter that can capture 720p videos if you want to, while selfie lovers will have to make do with 2MP front-facing camera. There is just Wi-Fi support here, so forget about a cellular version being the pipeline.
