galaxyyoungI suppose it does not need to take too much imagination to think of a new handset name when you have already got a series going on, like the Samsung Galaxy Young. In the previous year’s summer, we did hear about the Samsung Galaxy Young 2 being introduced as it sported the kind of hardware specifications that were rather surprising – and not in a good way, since it came with a configuration that one would see on a far older entry level smartphone. Well, an User Agent Profile from Samsung’s website has revealed information on a device that could very well be a successor to that model, calling it the Samsung Galaxy Young 3.

Apparently, this particular model number that was found on the UAProf happened to be SM-G150NL, which is not too far off the mark when you take into consideration how the SM-G130 model number happened to be associated with the Samsung Galaxy Young 2. As for its hardware specifications, the Samsung Galaxy Young 3 will arrive with a 3.8” display at 480 x 800 resolution, making it pretty much an entry level device that will most probably target the likes of emerging markets and developing countries. If it were to be offered by mobile carriers, you can more or less be sure that it will be part of a “free phone” package.
