samsung logo 4The rivalry between Apple and Samsung is fierce. Sometimes Apple takes the lead, and sometimes Samsung takes the lead, like in this instance where according to Reputation Institute’s latest RepTrak report, it seems that Samsung has managed to beat out Apple to become the most reputable tech company in the US.

In fact it would seem that Apple did not even come close. The Cupertino company was actually ranked 21st in the technology category, and it even fell out of the top 100 companies rankings overall where it previously was holding on to its 57th place. It looks like even then Samsung has Apple beat with the South Korean tech giant ranking 28th overall.

This puts them ahead of not just Apple, but other tech companies such as Tesla, Sony, HP, Microsoft, and Google. So how does this ranking work? Well the Reputation Institute measures reputation by looking at categories and how companies perform in them, such as products and services, innovation, workplace, governance, citizenship, leadership, and performance.

That being said, it should be noted that Samsung is listed as a current client of the Reputation Institute, so it is possible that there might be a bit of biasness towards Samsung so take this report with a grain of salt for now, but in the meantime do you think Samsung deserves their ranking?
