mobile-without-borders

T-Mobile today Amped its original “uncarrier” move, the Simple Choice plan, and announced an expansion for this plan called Mobile Without Borders. This expansion of the Simple Choice plan will let you use your T-Mobile phone in Canada and Mexico as you would in the United States, so you get unlimited calls, texts and even 4G LTE data in those countries at no extra charge.

It doesn’t matter if you’re calling a landline or a mobile in Canada or Mexico, if you’re on a T-Mobile Simple Choice plan in the United States it won’t cost you extra to call those numbers when you’re in either of the two countries.

T-Mobile has published the entire list of cities in Canada and Mexico where Mobile Without Borders is functional, the carrier will expand the reach of this plan to more cities down the line.

That’s not all, Mobile Without Borders also includes T-Mobile’s Music Freedom service as well as Wi-Fi calling. All of these features will be available to you in those countries as they would be in the U.S. at no additional cost, which makes a T-Mobile connection exceptional value for money if you travel frequently between these countries.

Mobile Without Borders goes live July 15th and will be available to all Simple Choice customers on postpaid and prepaid. All new customers will get it automatically and existing subscribers just need to add it to their plan online.
