terrafugiaIt looks like churning out a flying car is not all that easy, never mind that you will not find too much competition in this particular department in the first place, anyway. Terrafugia and their vision of a flying car is not an unfamiliar concept to us, but it seems that the ride is about to be on the receiving end of an exterior design, now how about that? This particular redesign will be known as the Outer Mold Line, or OML for short.

It has been over two years now that Terrafugia has been working to make sure that its TF-X hybrid electric aircraft will be able to take to the skies, and the updated exterior design dubbed the Outer Mold Line, or OML, could help it achieve its dreams. The OML will continue to maintain the four-seat, vertical takeoff and landing (VOTL) plane-car design, and best of all is, TF-X will not need a runway, although we are quite sure that anyone who has one of these would most probably have the means to own a runway him or herself.

Apparently, the two-seater ride with folding wings will be able to accept reservations online, where it will retail for approximately $279,000 thereabouts.
