If there is one thing that is annoying about playing MMORPGs such as World of Warcraft, is that sometimes the traveling time in between locations is painfully boring. Considering that not all locations have “taxis”, this means you will actually need to walk your character to that location as opposed to hopping on a taxi, and grab yourself a drink while you wait.

This is largely due to the fact that MMORPG worlds have been designed to be huge, and if you’re wondering how huge is huge, wonder no more. YouTuber BigCliffy has recently put together a hyperlapse video which basically shows you just how big and expansive the World of Warcraft really is.

Now for the most part the video only covers areas in Kalimdor, Eastern Kingdoms, and Pandaria, so it isn’t necessarily the complete world. However given that the video is almost 5 minutes long and has been sped up thanks to hyperlapse, you can only imagine if you were to actually walk normally or fly through the different zones how long it would take.

In any case the video also serves as a nice reminder and will certainly bring back fond memories that players have of the game, so if you have some time to spare, grab yourself some popcorn, sit back, and enjoy the trip down memory lane.
