Xiaomi is a company primarily known for their cheap smartphones, although recently the company has been branching out into other products, such as smart TVs, where only a couple of months ago, they unveiled the Xiaomi Mi TV 2 which had a 49-inch display and a 4K resolution and where it was only priced at $640.
That being said, Xiaomi is back with a new model in the form of the Xiaomi Mi TV 2S. This is a 48-inch 4K TV which measures a whopping 9.9mm thick, which you can see for yourself in the image above. This is rather impressive not to mention stylish, so if you wanted a slim piece of tech in your living room, Xiaomi might be the company to go for if you don’t want to break the bank.
So apart from its size and resolution, what else does the Mi TV 2S have going for it? Under the hood, the TV will be powered by an MStar 6A928 SoC which is basically a quad-core processor with A17 cores. It will also feature a Mali T760MP4 GPU, HDMI 2.0a ports, USB 3.0, WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity, 2GB of RAM, and 8GB of storage.
In terms of price, it will be extremely affordable at $485, although unfortunately just like the majority of Xiaomi’s products, it will only be available in China at the moment, but hopefully the company will start branching into the US in the future.
