Amazon Echo isn’t meant to be a personal device rather it works best when placed in an open environment where multiple users can interact with it, ask questions, get information, listen to music and much more. Up till now it wasn’t possible to use Echo to play music from multiple accounts, it could only pull music from the main account. That’s no longer the case. Amazon Echo is now capable of playing music and audiobooks from multiple Amazon accounts.

This means that if your partner would rather listen to the jazz collection in their Amazon account they can do that without having to contend with your pop collection.

To add another Amazon account just open the Alexa app and add another Amazon user to the household. Switching between multiple Amazon accounts is quite easy and only requires a voice command. Just say “Alexa, switch accounts” and it will do the rest on its own.

Alexa has also received some new third-party skills such as the High Low Guessing Game, Cat facts, Bingo and others all of which can be enabled through the Alexa app.

Previously Amazon Echo was only sold to people who had received an invite, now Amazon is selling this product to anyone and everyone who would like to spend their money on one.
