Apple Music Event

Apple has re-branded its annual September iTunes festival as the Apple Music Festival. The festival will be held from September 19th to September 28th, in London. Earlier, Apple used to organize a 30-day iTunes event, but this time it will go on for 10-days only. One more new addition is that the event will be streamed live on Apple Music, Beats 1 Radio, along with performing artists’ profiles on Apple Music Connect.

Until now, Apple has revealed the names of four performing artists at the event, along with the dates. One Direction will perform on September 22nd, Disclosure on September 25th, Pharrell Williams on September 26th, and Florence and the Machine on September 28th. There will be more lead artists who will perform on the remaining dates along with many supporting artists, but their names have not been disclosed yet. The concert will be organized at the London Roundhouse.

All those who are keen on attending the fest, you will be required to win tickets through Apple Music’s promotional event and also via other media partners for the event. Live streaming will come handy in such case, as users can easily watch all the shows from the comfort of their home. Apple Executive, Eddy Cue has also announced that artists who will be performing at the event, will also appear live and interact with the fans on Beats 1 Radio and Apple Connect.

Other than the live streaming, there will be more content available on Apple Music such as the announcement of performing artists, and behind-the-scene images and footage. Users will be allowed to stream live performances on their iPod touch, iPhone, iPad, Mac, and PC. Interestingly, Apple TV users will get high-definition videos of the event.
