Samsung-Galaxy-Note-5-07

Many Samsung fans didn’t like the fact that the company decided to opt against microSD card slots in its flagship handsets the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge. They were hopeful that the company won’t repeat this with the Galaxy Note 5 but it has, there is no microSD card in the new phablet. Recently a purported dual-SIM Galaxy Note 5 with microSD card was spotted but all the hype falls flat because the dual-SIM variant of this handset has gone up for pre-order and it has been confirmed that it doesn’t feature a microSD card slot.

The hype reached new highs last week when a picture of the Galaxy A8 was said to be that of a dual-SIM Galaxy Note 5 with microSD card slot, it gained much steam online because still there are a lot of people out there who believe Samsung is making a mistake by removing microSD support from high-end devices.

It is being reported that the Galaxy Note 5 Duos, the dual-SIM version, is already up for pre-order in the Philippines and as expected there’s no microSD card to be found.

Samsung appears to have made its mind about what its smartphones of the future will and will not bring, the microSD card slot doesn’t appear to have made that list.
