paper-fiftythree-iphoneIf you’re an artist that likes to draw, you might be familiar with apps such as Paper by FiftyThree. The app was launched on the iPad several years ago but has yet to make its way onto the iPhone. This isn’t too surprising when you consider that the iPhone’s small screen would make a drawing app rather difficult.

Interestingly enough despite the launch of the 5.5-inch iPhone 6 Plus last year, its developers stated then that the app would not make its way to the iPhone, at least until now where it seems that they might have had a change of heart. The company has recently announced that they will finally be bringing Paper onto the iPhone.

Unfortunately details of the iPhone app remain unclear and there is no mention of when it will be arriving, although users who are interested can leave their email on FiftyThree’s website and be notified when the app has launched. We’re not sure how different the experience will be especially on smaller devices, and whether or not it will be limited to Apple’s newer iPhones or if all models are compatible.

It was also not mentioned if the app will be the same app meaning that users won’t need to make a separate purchase, or if it will be an entirely new app. However it is expected that the iPhone version will still play nicely with FiftyThree’s accessories, like the Pencil accessory, at least that’s what we can assume based on the photo above.
