gamefly-streaming

A couple of months back Gamefly, a well known game rental service, launched a new game streaming service though the initial roll out was very limited in scope. To use the game streaming service users had to have an Amazon Fire TV but starting today the company is expanding it to Samsung TVs. Select Samsung smart TV models are now capable of streaming games over the internet using Gamefly’s service.

This isn’t the only game streaming service that’s available for Samsung smart TVs. It was confirmed back at CES earlier this year that PlayStation Now will also arrive on select Samsung TVs and it did go live on certain models recently. CEO David Hodess says “Samsung’s global reach is a great way to bring GameFly Streaming to consumers across the globe.”

According to Gamefly this service can be accessed on most smart TVs from Samsung that were made from 2014 onwards. Supported markets include North America, major countries in Europe, and even Brazil.

Subscribers don’t pay one fixed price to access the entire library, instead they pay $6.99 per month to pick a bundle of seven games that they can stream on demand. There are 40 games in the library currently which includes some popular games such as Batman Arkham Origins.
