Rockstar’s GTA 5 has pretty good graphics but if you wanted to take things to the next level, you might be interested in a mod called Toddyhancer, which as you can see in the video above will help boost the game’s graphics to ultra realistic levels. In fact upon first glance it is easy to mistake the game for what seems like a photograph of real-life.

According to its creator, Martin Bergman, this is a work in progress. So far what he’s done is use ReShade shades, ENB, and made some simple tweaks and some tonemapping as well, so safe to say we are curious to see what the final version could look like, especially since this work in progress looks pretty good at the moment.

That being said, this isn’t the first time we’ve seen mods turn games ultra realistic. Even GTA 5’s predecessor had a mod called the iCEnhancer that also made the game look pretty damn real, although safe to say it looks nothing like what we’re seeing above. We’ve also seen similar mods applied to other games such as Watch Dogs and Skyrim in the past.

In any case no word on when Bergman plans on releasing his mod to the masses, but it’s probably one that many will be looking forward to, although we have to wonder how much this will affect overall performance of the game.
