According to the rumors, we could be treated to two Nexus devices this year: one made by LG and another made by Huawei. Now thanks to a recent post by Steve Hemmerstoffer of Nowhereelse.fr and also known as @onleaks, it seems that a video of the alleged Huawei Nexus has surfaced.

The title claims that this is a prototype so even if we were to believe it, this means that the final design of the phone could differ from what we are seeing in the video. Interestingly enough the design does remind us a bit of the LG Nexus 5. In fact the camera design is very reminiscent of the Nexus 5 with the circular design.

The video also shows off a small square section below the camera. While we can’t confirm this yet, chances are it could be the fingerprint scanner that the handset is rumored to sport. Other than that the video doesn’t really give much away as it is a bit too short to make out everything at once.

Recently we have also heard some leaked specs of the Huawei Nexus. If the rumors are accurate, the Huawei Nexus could sport a 5.7-inch WQHD display and based on the comparisons with the LG Nexus, there is a good chance it could end up being the superior of the two. The camera is rumored to be of the 21MP variety and will come with wireless charging and a metal unibody design.
