iPhone-6-review-2We have been hearing rumors that on the 9th of September, Apple could announce their new iPhone 6s and 6s Plus smartphones, but the question is when will they be available for purchase? According to a report from PhoneArena, they have been tipped off that a French carrier had apparently leaked the details of the pre-order.

If the information is accurate, they expect that the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus will go up for pre-order come 11th of September. They also note that shipments are expected to begin a week after which is on the 18th of September. Now if you’re wondering why that date sounds so familiar, it is because it has come up multiple times in the past.

Previously we had heard how carriers in Germany and in the UK have both pegged the handset for a release on the 18th of September, so to have that date “confirmed” by a French carrier certainly makes the 18th of September more plausible than ever. However it is possible that the carriers are only speculating, but considering that they are selling the device, they should have some kind of insider information.

In any case take it with a grain of salt for now, but we’ll be keeping our eyes peeled for more information regarding the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus’ launch, which hopefully won’t be too far off as we are approaching the end of August.
