lg_nexus_2015_1If the rumors and leakers are to be believed, LG could be one of two companies that will be making the Nexus handset this year. So far we have heard rumblings of specs but in terms of design, not much is known, at least until now. It seems that @OnLeaks has teamed up with uSwitch and have released a handful of images that allegedly depict the LG Nexus.

Now it should be noted that these are just renderings and aren’t actually the device in question. However these renderings could be the real deal used by LG/Google and could also be used as marketing material. However given that they are unofficial, do take it with a grain of salt for now and hopefully Google and LG will have something official for us soon.

That being said, the handset doesn’t look too striking. It’s pretty standard in terms of design and sports a rather huge hump on the back of the handset. There is also a circular section below the camera which lines up with what we’ve seen in the past, and from what we have heard it will be where the fingerprint sensor will go.

Now we can’t really tell based on the design of the handset in these renderings, but a previous leak from @OnLeaks has suggested that the handset will feature a metal construction, but perhaps it’s the lighting or color of the render that makes it hard to tell. Other rumored specs include a 5.2-inch display and a USB-C connector.
