bionic penisSo we’ve seen a variety of bionic appendages in the past, like bionic eyes, bionic arms, and bionic feet, but what about our sexual reproductive organs? If it was possible to create bionic eyes, feet, and arms, surely a bionic penis wouldn’t be out of the question, right? For those wondering if it is possible, it turns out that the answer is yes.

43-year old Mohammed Abad is the first person in the world to receive a bionic penis after successful surgery was performed on him at the University College London. Abad sort of lost his penis when he was 6-years old after he was hit by a car and dragged 600 feet, resulting in his penis and one testicle being torn off.

However with the surgery, the doctors have gifted him an 8-inch bionic penis that thanks to a pump, will be able to inflate when needed. Speaking to The Sun, “When you want a bit of action you press the ‘on’ button. When you are finished you press another button. It takes seconds. Doctors have told me to keep practising.”

Doctors expect that this should be good enough for Abad to start a family should he choose to. That being said, while Abad is the first person to ever receive a bionic penis, earlier this year it was reported that a man from South Africa was the first person to ever receive a penis transplant, who by the way is now expecting a child. Science!
