moto 360 tweetAccording to the latest rumor, the next-gen Moto 360 is pegged for an IFA launch, meaning that we’re still several weeks away from potentially learning more about the handset. That being said, thanks to the folks at 9to5Google, it seems that Motorola might have accidentally tweeted out an image of the next-gen Moto 360.

As you can see in the screenshot above, it shows a (now deleted) tweet from Motorola in which they basically expound on the advantages of the Moto 360. While they do not explicitly mention that the watch pictured is the next-gen Moto 360, the fact that it looks very different from its predecessor has many speculating that this could be it.

For starters what gave it away are the huge lugs that connect the straps to the watch, something which the previous Moto 360 did not have, which you can see for yourself in our review. This also seems to be in line with Lenovo’s CEO accidentally tweeting prototypes of the watch earlier this year, a tweet which has also been deleted shortly after.

That being said, for all we know this could be a mock up of a watch just to showcase its capabilities and might not be an indication of the next-gen Moto 360, but why delete the tweet if it’s that innocent, right? In any case try not to get your hopes up just yet, but hopefully Motorola will have something for us at IFA 2015.
