The Apple Watch’s design is lauded by some and criticized by others who felt that it might not necessarily have been Jony Ive’s best work. Maybe you feel that way,. or maybe you’re the type that generally prefers watches that look more traditional, but yet can’t seem to give up on the functions or features of smartwatches.

If that describes you, you’re in luck thanks to a company by the name of Nico Gerard. As you can see in the video above, the company has put together an accessory designed for the Apple Watch that will give you the best of both worlds, albeit for a rather steep price of $9,000, but if you can afford that, why not?

So what are we looking at? Dubbed the Pinnacle, basically this a regular watch that allows users to attach the Apple Watch to the base of it. Essentially the Apple Watch will end up resting on the bottom of your rest. As for the watch itself, Nico Gerard claims it will be a mechanical Swiss timepiece with automatic movement.

It will come in a variety of different colors and while we have to admire the ingenuity, we have to wonder if wearing such a device is comfortable or practical, not to mention its price starts at a whopping $9,300 and will go up to $112,000 for the gold version. For those interested in getting their hands on it, Nico Gerard will only be shipping the Pinnacle in 10-12 months.

According to the company’s CEO Andy Pluemer, “The movements take six months to make and certify. We have sequenced the production of the models with the limited editions being produced first.”
