Ubisoft has posted a new update today regarding the Rainbow Six Siege release date, the title has been through playtests in its studios and through hands-on demos at events like E3 and Gamescom. Player feedback has been essential in the development of this title and this has made Ubisoft realize that there’s more to be done before this title is ready which is why it has decided to push back the Rainbow Six Siege release date.

Rainbow Six Siege was originally supposed to be released on October 13th, 2015 but Ubisoft has decided to push the release back to December 1st, 2015 for all regions. Ubisoft says that this wasn’t an easy decision but given all of the feedback that it has received and based on its own internal tests it feels that there are adjustments and improvements that can be made to improve the overall experience.

During this time the co-op experience across all modes, weapons, gadget balancing as well as menu and interface navigation will be improved.

As planned the closed beta for Rainbow Six Siege is going to kick off on September 24th, 2015. This additional time will allow Ubisoft to conduct more tests on matchmaking and infrastructure to ensure that gamers get a much higher-quality experience at launch.
