samsung flipThese days when everyone’s making such a big deal about screen size, it’s odd to see companies like Samsung continue to churn out flip devices. In fact it was just last month that the South Korean tech company announced the Samsung Galaxy Folder, and it looks like they have no plans of slowing down.

It seems that over in China, Samsung has announced yet another flip phone but before you dismiss it as being another low-powered handset, think again. It turns out that the device, the SM-G9198, will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor under its hood, making it much more powerful than many other handsets out there.

Apart from the Snapdragon 808, it will also come with a 16MP rear-facing camera with a decently sized aperture of f/1.9. The front-facing camera is of the 6MP variety, and it will also come with a 3.9-inch Super AMOLED HD display which is actually pretty impressive given its size and design.

It will also come with a 2,020mAh battery, 16GB of storage expandable via microSD, and what we can only assume is Android running the show. Unfortunately due to its China launch, it is unlikely that we will see it arrive stateside for now.
