round-gear-smartwatch-samsungWhenever a particular device is on the verge of being introduced to the market, you can more or less bet your bottom dollar that there will be plenty of leaks as well as rumors that surround it for sure. Well, the same goes to the Samsung Gear A, where it was known as Project Orbis earlier on within Samsung’s inner circles. Apparently, the Samsung Gear A is touted to arrive (but not next week) with limited Samsung Pay capabilities, which would then make it the maiden device from Samsung that will take advantage of their very own mobile payments platform on a global scale. Now, we hear that the Samsung Gear A could very well arrive in a trio of different variants, now how about that? Sounds pretty much like the Apple Watch, doesn’t it?

Word on the street has it that the Samsung Gear A will arrive in SM-R720, SM-R730 and SM-R732 models, where it remains to be seen as to just what might be different from one smartphone to another, although it would not be too far off the mark to figure out that the kind of material and thought put into the design would differ from one model to another, as well as the higher end one ending up with more bells and whistles, naturally.

Of course, until something official is mentioned or conferred, it would be best to take this bit of news with more than a pinch of salt. We do know that the Samsung Gear A will feature a rotative bezel/dial which can be used by users to cycle through any open apps, as well as to perform navigation tasks via the menus.
