alcatel-onetouchflash2Certain handsets are definitely geography centric, and when it comes to Alcatel, they have had their fair share of region-centric devices in the past. This time around it would be the Alcatel OneTouch Flash 2 that is in question, where this particular mid-range handset is set to be released across seven different Asian countries at first, although do bear in mind that this does not rule out the possibility of it being launched elsewhere some time down the road. As for the hardware specifications of the Alcatel OneTouch Flash 2, let us check it out right after the jump.

For starters, the OneTouch Flash 2 will arrive with a 5” 720p IPS touchscreen which makes it a mid-range device, a 13MP Samsung ISOCELL rear camera with phase detection autofocus, f/2.0 aperture, and dual-tone dual-LED flash, a 5MP front-facing shooter with a LED flash, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal memory and a 3,000 mAh battery.

MediaTek’s MT6753 chipset will keep it running nice and smooth thanks to a 1.3GHz octa-core Cortex-A53 CPU, while Android 5.1 Lollipop holds everything together. Those who are interested will be able to pick from Volcanic Grey and Mica White shades, where it will be offered in India, the Philippines, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, Malaysia, and Singapore. There is no word on pricing as at press time.
