It’s safe to say that many gamers were disappointed when the new Silent Hills was cancelled. This was made worse by the fact that Konami also decided to pull P.T., the game’s playable teaser. This effectively erased any trace of the game, unless of course you managed to download it early and are keeping it on your PlayStation.

The good news is that if you were looking forward to a similar game to Silent Hills, you’re in luck as Allison Road has officially launched on Kickstarter. For those unfamiliar with Allison Road, this is a game developed by the studio Lilith. In some ways it reminds us of P.T. and from what we can tell, it looks just as scary, if not more, than P.T.

Of course it won’t be 100% the same but the concept is there. Since Silent Hills was cancelled we have no idea what it would have been like, but Allison Road could be a good gauge of what the game could have been. The added bonus is that Allison Road will also be compatible with VR devices like the Oculus Rift, so if you’d like to scare yourself silly this game would make a good candidate.

Its creators are aiming to raise £250,000 and to date have managed to raise a little over £36,000. If you’d like to help out their cause and make Allison Road a reality, then be sure to head on over to its Kickstarter page and pledge your donation.
