We are talking about a whopping 34” here people, which is larger than some of the TVs in households today. Not only that, this is no flat 34” monitor, as it will boast of a curved ultra-wide 21:9 screen, where it abides by the model number PG348Q.

It does look as though the world of ultra-wide monitors are starting to expand, as gamers look forward to a more immersive experience, with other companies such as LG and Acer also jumping on board. Aesthetically pleasing, the ASUS PG348Q is part of the company’s ROG line, where it will boast of a maximum refresh rate of 100MHz that delivers a competitive FPS experience, in addition to support for NVIDIA’s G-sync which would offer extremely smooth gameplay.

Your eyeballs will definitely be jumping for joy when you check out the 3440 x 1440 resolution that it pumps out. There is no word as to when this particular monitor will be made available to the masses for a purchase, but you can be sure that it will not come cheap at all. [Press Release]
