batman-arkham-knight-2A couple of weeks ago, we reported that Warner Bros. was getting ready to release an interim patch for the PC version of Batman: Arkham Knight. Based on what the patch was promised to deliver, it sounds as though it could finally address all the issues that many PC gamers had with the game upon its launch.

No date was given for the patch, but it seems that someone might have accidentally let it go live a bit earlier than expect. The patch has since been pulled, but there is some good news and that is gamers who were able to download the patch have reported that the patch is indeed everything that Warner Bros. had promised.

Many gamers have reported that after patching the game, they are finally experiencing smooth gameplay, which is pretty much what many had expected when they had bought the game. Some gamers took it further by maxing out all of the settings and found that it ran perfectly at 60fps with some slight hiccups, but overall still pretty smooth.

Obviously the patch is not complete otherwise they would have released it already, but given the positive feedback many are giving based on this incomplete patch, it certainly sounds like a promising fix and we can’t wait to see what the final release will hold!
