Without a doubt there are many Android and BlackBerry fans out there who are curious to see what BlackBerry might be able to bring to the table with the Venice. For those unfamiliar, the BlackBerry Venice is a rumored Android handset made by the Canadian company, a rather stark departure from their stance on using their own BlackBerry OS.

Now earlier this week we saw photos leaked and if that wasn’t enough, you’re in luck because a new video has surfaced. This particular video runs for about 4 minutes and it’s a pretty comprehensive hands-on review of the BlackBerry Venice. Now according to the video, they claim that the unit they are testing is an evaluation unit.

This means that it is hardly the final product that BlackBerry will be releasing into the wild, so what you see might not necessarily be what you get in the final version. However it should still serve as a pretty good indication of what we can expect. Also from what we can tell, the device in the video seems to be in line with what we’ve seen so far.

Unfortunately there is still no word on when the handset will be announced, but given the number of leaks we’ve started to see, especially one out in public at the Toronto Film Festival, we’d like to think that we’re pretty close to a release.
