Flight-ControlIf you have used a smartphone long enough, chances are you might have played classic mobile games such as Flight Control and the original Real Racing. The bad news is that if you still enjoy these games today, EA has announced that they will be ending their support for both these titles along with a slew of other mobile games.

This not only means that the games won’t be updated with new content in the future, but they will also not be available for purchase or download via their respective app stores. Given how old some of these games, and how many newer games EA has to focus their resources towards, we suppose this doesn’t really come as a surprise.

According to EA, this removal took place at the start of the month. “On September 1, 2015, we will be removing some of our older mobile titles from the mobile app stores. We will not be supporting or updating these games going forward. We are focusing our efforts on developing new and exciting titles, as well as bringing new content and updates to existing popular games.”

Now for those who have the games already installed on their mobile devices, the good news is that they will remain playable. They just won’t be updated in the future so any bugs you discover, you’ll just have to deal with it. In the meantime if you’d like to check out the complete list of games that have been removed, head on over to EA’s support page for the details.
