elon-musk-newTesla, the company that Elon Musk owns, and the one which has churned out the likes of the record breaking Model S, does not look like it is going to rest on its laurels with the Model X and its Signature Series, as Tesla CEO Elon Musk has just shared that its mass-market car, simply known as the Model 3, will eventually be made available to the masses in 2017 at the earliest. Not only that, the price point has also been revealed – although do bear in mind that between now and then, there might be plenty of uncertainties like currency fluctuation at the like, so take it with a pinch of salt.

For starters, I am quite sure that many of us are wondering when will we be able to afford one of them Tesla rides, and to hear that the upcoming Tesla Model 3 will retail for $35,000 is more than welcome. Of course, between now and then, you might want to make sure that your existing people mover is in good condition. At the moment, Tesla is working on the batteries of the ride, since at present, the batteries which will keep the Model 3 going might cost as much as the ride itself, so hopefully Tesla and their Gigafactory effort will yield positive results.
