fallout_4_xbox_oneIf you were thinking about getting your hands on Fallout 4 for your Xbox One console, you might be interested to learn that the game is expected to weigh about 28GB, or to be more specific, 28.12GB. While this was not confirmed by Bethesda, the game’s file size was confirmed via Microsoft’s digital storefront (via Game Rant).

If you were one of the Xbox One’s early customers and bought the 500GB model and you’re low on space, then perhaps you should start looking into creating more space on your console. Even if you have 1TB but have quickly filled that up with games and whatnot, perhaps you could consider offloading some files onto external hard drives to make room for Fallout 4.

That being said given how Bethesda is boasting about how much content the game is expected to pack,  we suppose its file size does not come as a big surprise. No word on whether this file size is applicable to the PC and PS4 versions of the game, but we suppose it shouldn’t deviate too much, although to date Bethesda has yet to confirm the PC requirements for the game.

Fallout 4 is pegged for a release on the 10th of November 2015 on the PC, PS4, and Xbox One, so gamers still have a little over a month to go to clear out some room, so best get cracking if you haven’t done so already!
