Samsung-Galaxy-Note-5-11

It has been a couple of weeks since Samsung unveiled the Galaxy Note 5 at an event last month, the handset soon made its way to customers though only in selected markets. As we all know many Android users like to tinker with the software on their devices and install custom ROMs to improve the experience there’s no doubt that many Galaxy Note 5 owners want to do the same with their new handset, and now they can do that as Galaxy Note 5 TWRP support has finally arrived.

There’s actually a very robust Android modding community that works on custom recoveries and ROMs for all major new devices so that owners can get the most out of their handsets

One major reason that sends people towards third-party ROMs is the amount of bloatware and fluff that you find on Android skins by OEMs, all of this tends to slow the device down, running a custom ROM is an easy trick to speed things up.

The process isn’t easy though, people who haven’t done it before will likely find it to be a bit challenging, it’s best to read up on all the risks associated with modding your Android device before proceeding.

Official Team Win Recovery Project’s custom recovery for Galaxy Note 5 is available for download now, keep in mind though that it’s only compatible with the GSM version of this handset, so it won’t work if you have picked up your handset from the likes of Verizon or Sprint.
