huawei-honor-7__14Not a fan of pre-installed apps? We can’t say we blame you. Most of the time pre-installed apps are ones that we hardly use and in the past, carriers and OEMs used to bundle tons of apps on smartphones which have also been referred to as bloatware. These days the situation isn’t as bad, but Huawei wants to know what you think about it anyway.

The company has recently launched a survey in which they are polling their customers on how they feel about pre-installed apps. According to Huawei, “Some users enjoy having the most popular apps like Facebook or Amazon pre-loaded so they don’t have to download them, while others are annoyed when they see extra apps that they have no intention of using. When it comes to 3rd party pre-installed apps, where do you stand?”

We can only assume that moving forward and based on this survey, Huawei will use the information to best determine how to deliver an optimal experience for its customers. Right now the company is rumored to be producing 2015’s Nexus which is expected to run on stock Android (without pre-installed apps from Huawei), so this survey will most likely be used to apply to their future handsets.

In any case if you have a couple of minutes to spare and want to let Huawei know how you feel about pre-installed apps, head on over to the survey’s page and let your thoughts be known!
