ipad_pro_8So we know that Apple is hosting an event on the 9th of September where they will most likely announce the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus. As for Apple’s iPads, the tablets tend to be announced later at a separate event, but a new report from 9to5Mac has revealed that could change as Apple might use this event to announce new iPads.

The report claims that the rumored 12.9-inch iPad Pro and the fourth-gen iPad mini could be announced at the 9th of September event. However despite announcing it so early, the report goes on to add that Apple will only begin taking pre-orders for the iPad Pro late October and are expected to begin shipping them in November.

This will be an interesting move by Apple and will no doubt make this one heck of an event. In fact the rumors are claiming we could see some kind of Apple Watch-related announcement, possibly new bands/color combinations, and that the refreshed Apple TV is also expected to debut then as well.

Like we said this is a change in Apple’s practices but we have seen the company shake up their timeline before, so this wouldn’t be the first, but until we hear otherwise do remember to take it with a grain of salt for now.
