A new Halo 5: Guardians trailer is making the rounds on the internet today, it’s apparently being shown in U.S. movie theaters as an advertisement before the movie begins, someone recorded that trailer and leaked it online. It doesn’t really reveal any new information about the title but does feature some footage that hasn’t been seen before. Many members on the Halo subreddit pointed out that this trailer is making the rounds and shows Master Chief and Spartan Locke in combat.

Much of what we see in this trailer has already been released such as statements already made by developer 343 Industries, with multiple studio employees also joining in on the promotion festivities, detailing the design process as well as about the overall experience that Halo 5: Guardians provides.

New footage from the title is included in this trailer even though it doesn’t really reveal more details about the title’s story. We do get to see Master Chief and Spartan Locke duking it out in an in-game cutscene. It may only be a short video but it does go to show that both primary characters will have a face-to-face in this title.

Halo 5: Guardian, an Xbox exclusive, will be released soon enough for Microsoft’s gaming console. Undoubtedly there’s a lot of anticipation among the Halo community and we’ll have to wait and see if the title lives up to their expectations.
