Lenovo_AIO_700_BLACK_004For the more “hardcore” user, AIO desktops probably won’t cut it. This is because such users might require larger graphics cards, extra components like a dedicated sound card, and also more options for cooling. However if you don’t fancy yourself a hardcore user, an AIO desktop should be enough to get you by.

In fact, an AIO will be great at saving you desk space, so if you are after such a computer, Lenovo has you covered as the company has announced the Lenovo ideacentre AIO 700 series of desktop computers. As its name suggests, this is an all-in-one setup, meaning that you won’t have huge PC case to deal with.

The ideacentre AIO 700 will feature up to a 27-inch LED backlit display with a Full HD resolution. There will be 10-point multitouch technology so you can interact with the device via its screen or your keyboard/mouse. Under the hood, users can choose to customize it with up to a 6th-gen Intel Core i7 processor, and up to 16GB of RAM.

There is an option to add an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 950A GPU with 2GB of VRAM if you want to get some gaming done. It will sport a built-in webcam with Intel’s RealSense camera technology, and will support up to 2TB of storage via a HDD, or a SSHD combo of 2TB of HDD and 8GB of SSD, or pure SSD with up to 192GB.

There are built-in JBL speakers and will come with Windows 10 Home preinstalled. As for pricing, expect to pick it up in October 2015 starting at $1,099 for the 24-inch model, and $1,899 for the 27-inch model.
