lg_class_1According to a report from yesterday, LG teased on its Facebook page that they were planning on announcing a new phone on the 21st of September. The phone in question, which right now is based on a rumor, is dubbed the LG Class and now thanks to leaked photos out of Korea (via G for Games), we have a better idea of what the phone looks like.

As you can see in the photos, this definitely does not look like the phones we have come to know LG by over the past year or so. The phone looks kind of bulky and very square-ish around the edges, and based on the side profiles, it is kind of thick as well. Of course some users might prefer a thicker phone as it feels nicer to hold as it won’t slip out of their hands.

As far as specs are concerned, the rumors are claiming that it will feature a 5.7-inch Full HD display. It’s bit hard to tell from the photos so take it with a grain of salt for now. Under the hood, there is said to be a Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor clocked at 1.5GHz and accompanied by 2GB of RAM.

There will be a 12MP rear-facing camera, a 5MP front-facing camera, and 8GB of storage which we can only assume can be expanded via microSD. In any case for all we know, the device might not even be launched stateside, but either way do check back with us on the 21st of September for the details.
