LG-G4-Pro-benchmarkThere have been some back and forth reports of a certain LG G4 Pro. Some claim that the device was cancelled in favor of the rumored LG V10, but a more recent report has suggested that the handset is still in the works. In fact thanks to recent benchmarks, it would seem that the device is alive and well, and that we might have an idea of what kind of specs it will pack.

According to the results from GFXBench, the rumored LG G4 Pro appears to sport a 5.7-inch QHD display. Under the hood, a hexa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset can be found clocked at 1.8GHz. Given its hexa-core status, we can only imagine that this is part of the Snapdragon 800 series, possibly the Snapdragon 808, but we’re just speculating.

It will come with 4GB of RAM, 51GB of storage, a 15MP rear-facing camera that can record 4K video, a 4.7MP front-facing camera, and it will also come with Android 5.1.1 Lollipop preinstalled. Unfortunately to date we have no idea what the handset will look like, but given that it is part of the LG G4 family, perhaps the design won’t deviate too far from the original.

In any case take it with a grain of salt for now as benchmarks can be faked. LG will be hosting an event for the 1st of October where presumably the LG V10 will be announced, so perhaps there might be a chance that the alleged LG G4 Pro could be announced too, but check back with us either way for the details.
